confirming that .mkv with SSA subtitles don't work with unofficial build as of last night...

updating to latest official release that dropped today. and will report back

Where did we leave AC3 support? I get clicks when I try it...
Also, anyone fancy writing a guide to reverting to standard build, or Meshuge, are you going to do a custom build that can download and dpkg based on it? Cheers!

You should just be able to follow the instructions off of xbmc.org.. I did without any issues. I had mkv's with subs working earlier today from the last unofficial.

I just tested subs dont work on the new build... can i go back to the 2110 release after i installed the official new build?

yes. the apt-get upgrade command should replace it. If not, just uninstall the official and go to the latest nightly.

tested .ssa with new official build. nothing displayed.

would you like a log?

What's the plan for the unofficial builds now that the second official is released?

Will meshuga continue to do nightlies with the latest fixes, or is the official build now considered good enough for the nightlies to be unnecessary?

- dtviewer - 2011-02-07

I'm hoping the nightlies or at least every few days will continue.

(And thanks to Meshuga for what he has done so far.Smile)

IMG/ISO files still does not work! It is a pity...

The official 10.0-5 build doesn't crash on the same MKV with subs build 10.0-4 did crash on. It doesn't display the build in subtitles but the MKV is perfectly playable now!

One other thing, on the 10.0-4 build XBMC reported 130MB of free memory which dropped to 105MB on the 10.0-5 build. Not sure if this matters though.

Just confirmed 10.0-5 has resolved the Live Essentials / Samba issue.

Davilla pushed out the new version earlier. I've confirmed and it's working.

Any chance that iso playback is working in 10.5?
