No doesn't work in XBMC Windows, so it looks like a global issue... PS3 and DIVX Player works fine though...

Then you need to submit this to the regular xbmc team since it's not a atv2 specific issue.

Rll1 Wrote:Anybody using an HDHomerun with the atv2 xbmc port? The stream is extremely choppy and end up triggering buffering every couple of seconds. Does the atv2 just not have enough juice for it, or is it an optimization issue that might be solved as we get further along?

If you're using a hdhomerun OTA (atsc) one, davilla has one and said the stream is mpeg2, so watching HD through that isn't that good since mpeg2 is using a software decoder. SD should work.
I'm not sure if the hdhomerun QAM is the same way.

Do the nightly builds eg org.xbmc-020811_atv2-arm.deb from 8/2 incorporate the fixes in v2 of the official build or is it a fork ?

Many thanks

As the 1st post details the *only* thing I am doing with these builds is pulling down from git and then building them as per readme.ios.

In addition, I am trying to list all the common issues with these unofficial builds in one place so we don't get tons of posts on the same issue.

Please, everyone, before posting to this thread, read the 1st post closely.

Yes, it is the ATSC version and it is a 720p stream I was trying to watch. It is fine on the htpc sitting next to the atv on the same switch, so it isn't a network issue. It did indeed look like the atv just didn't have enough cpu to handle it. Oh well, I will just have to avoid live streaming from the tuner on the atv. Thanks for the info.

still getting a lot of buffering out of the 08 build on xvid files.

thanks for all the hard work.

Keith - Any where/way to get a change log for each nightly build?
I find my self in the dark regarding what was done.

Any way - thank you for your hard work Smile

Don't know if it's an isolated problem but i still get error 2 when trying to add a smb share after updating to 080211 . Also zeroconf doesn't work (i can see the comp but not the shares)

i'll post the log file when i get home.

Yup, too lazy to change the script to increment the version. I will fix it on the next set of packages if I remember. Ignore it.

I haven't tested zeroconf yet, but try quitting out of XBMC and reloading it.
Davilla said sometimes on 1st launch it has problems with SMB but launches after seem to work better.
