Default Audio Track Selection/Preferences Not Being Saved - patranus - 2011-02-02
My current encode settings for MP4 files are to have ACC as the first audio track and AC3 as the second.
Both audio tracks play fine and I am able to switch from the ACC to the AC3 track during playback via the audio menu.
The issue that I am having is that if I select the "Set as default for all movies" option the audio track selection doesn't propagate to other movies.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am still experiencing this same issue and haven't been able to get it corrected. I have looked through this forum several times and haven't had any luck. I did change the ownership as was posted to resolve skin defaults not saving but it didn't help my issue.
What is happening is that every time I start a new movie it is defaulting to audio track 1 of 2 Stereo. I can use the context menu to change to track 2 of 2 and then I select "Set as Default..." but the next movie I start has the same issue. Any suggestions? thanks.
