- kobun - 2011-02-27 I have a request for kids channels.. can you add the shows from http://www.hubworld.com/ thanks NickJr.com - Error Report - jefffi - 2011-02-28 Hey Nixa. I'm also living in Japan and tried your Verizon resolve.conf hack, which was a valid work-around for getting the nick.com streams to play (used iCarly, from your example). However, flipping over to nickjr.com none of the videos are playing for me. I have uploaded a snip of my xbmc.log for review. Thank you for a cool AddOn, hopefully I can get it working for my toddlers. http://pastebin.com/yiFiuRC3 - nixa - 2011-02-28 Find DNS servers (apparently the 4.2.2.x are not working for me either) which are still supporting the old hand-shaking protocol. Until the librtmp is not updated to support the new verification method, you need to find a working DNS. p/s: Try 204.117.214.10 & 199.2.252.10 (still work for me). - cyberwizzard - 2011-03-01 Other addons (like the Crunchyroll one) are running into the handshake issue as well. Is there a fix for this? - nixa - 2011-03-02 learn linux and update the library. - cyberwizzard - 2011-03-02 No offence but XBMC uses its own librtmp, which seems to based on an ancient library which has been abandoned for quite a while. Patches for an alternative are in trac but not implemented for the current XMBC. So "learning linux" has nothing to do with it. - BlueCop - 2011-03-02 cyberwizzard: nope Dharma uses the librtmp from rtmpdump http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/ also I have already informed them of the issue and here is their response. http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/rtmpdump/2011-February/001295.html - cyberwizzard - 2011-03-02 Ah, my bad: I had an old SVN checkout on my system and I found hints of the old library and together with a old ticket from trac proposing to incorporate it I assumed this still was true. The reply is sort of not non committal, I was hoping for a 'ow-we-will-fix-that-asap' Edit: from this changelog I guess they have partial support for the new version: http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/rtmpdump/2010-February/000510.html - perhaps its a minor thing after all? - nixa - 2011-03-02 Open-source community embraces self-learning and work togetherness among its members. - DecK - 2011-03-02 Love this add-on, thank you. One small request. In the Nick Jr section, and I can't speak to the other 2, for each there are lots of small clips and between 3 and 5 full shows. Any way you could have an option to filter out clips under a specified duration (either hard coded or user defined)? Would really help with the WAF... - nixa - 2011-03-02 DecK Wrote:Love this add-on, thank you. Ok, in the next update, most probably after the problem with the new handshake protocol in rtmpe stream is resolved. - rflores2323 - 2011-03-07 nixa Wrote:Ok, in the next update, most probably after the problem with the new handshake protocol in rtmpe stream is resolved. nixa has this been done yet? thanks for the great addon - mwkurt - 2011-03-22 Hello, Having a problem with the plugin. It seems none of the streams I select will play. Is this a known problem or something on my end? Thanks, Mark - sullydavid - 2011-03-22 I am also getting a failure on playback. librtmp - nixa - 2011-03-23 The addon is playing the correct video path urls but it needs update in the librtmp to support the new handshake protocol as Hulu addon does. |
