Android remote can't play any m2ts files - Todge - 2011-02-09
Hi all, first time poster and an utter newcomer to xbmc.
Here it is, I have a shuttle which has Ubuntu 10.10 installed with XBMC running on it. I can play all of my videos just fine if I use a mouse and click on them but using the Android remote everything but m2ts files will play.
The icon next to the title of the episode/film is always a film clapper for every other video type but for m2ts files it is what looks like a sheet of paper with 4 lines on it.
This issue occurs on both my Desire HD and my wifes Desire Z.
Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

This file extension is simply not recognized as a video format in the remote. Could you create a ticket in the http://code.google.com/p/android-xbmcremote/issues/list ?

Thanks for the reply. I'll do that but my brother just told me his remote will play m2ts files fine on his xbmc. His phone is a Samsung Galaxy S.
