Did my share... - DirtySanchez - 2011-04-22

Like many of you I used XBMC a lot over the years... Linux, Windows Home Server plus HTPC etc.

Now... more satisfied then ever with my ATV2 in combination with a Synology 411+ NAS. Tonight I'll try to put XBMC on my iPad ;-)

You guys deserved the donation way long ago, but since selling my HTPC I had the extra cash to do so finally...

Greetz.

Donated 10 bucks as well, would be nice if it was used for iOS developement.
Will incrementally add more donation as the project makes progress.

Thanks davilla and other xbmc devs!

mattv Wrote:Through my work, I get a discount on Apple hardware.

I have sent a PM to Davilla and asked him to let the XBMC team leads know that I'm happy to buy hardware and pass the discount along and take reimbursement/payment on the back-end of the deal.

If anyone from the leadership team wants to talk to me -- please send me a PM.

Thanks for the offer mattv but the discount would have to be pretty steep to counter the cost of shipping to various xbmc devs, some of which do not live in the states (USA).

The best way is via donations, that way we can obtain items locally and skip the shipping/import costs.

Hi All,
First of all, Thank you for such an awesome application that I have come depend on on a daily basis on a variety of hardware.
I would love to donate (Which I will do shortly). Is there any reason you don't have paypal as one of the donate options which can probably increase the channels of donations (by allowing direct debit from bank account) ?

Thanks and Regards

Oh ok. That link only had CC logo and I was expecting a paypal logo there. I will donate using paypal.
Thanks

just donated. Thanks again for the great work.

As a user of this wonderful piece of software since frodo and the guys made XBMP, which made me buy an xbox just for that purpose, I got all warm and fuzzy after reading this thread.

Especially since history almost repeated itself recently by me buying a ATV2 when I read the announcement that it supported XBMC. The perfect solution for my livingroom as an addition to my htpc-setup in my "boys-room"Laugh

I know as many others feel that its way overdue that a donation comes from me.

30$ donated know, and if the development continues this wont be the last from meNod

hey guys I'm getting an ATV2 through a promotion that I don't need (got 2 already) so would like to donate it to a dev preferably in Australia. I'm happy to pay the postage.

Well gnif is in Katoomba and is doing great work on the new Audio Engine. Not sure if he is into the ATV2.... but a free one might get him interested Wink

I would def be interested, apparently AE needs some work for embedded platforms with float and all that, and I can always cross compile (in theory) in a VirtualBox VM, would also give me a chance to sink my teeth into some osx code. Oh, and yes, I am in Australia Smile

Harmony Remote - torsteinvh - 2011-04-27

I have a Harmony 555 remote I'm willing to donate if any devs are interested. Will pay for shipping Smile
