[ATV2] Category names missing in main menu - hellspawn666 - 2011-02-17
Hi!
I recently got an Apple TV 2 and installed XBMC on it.
This was basically my first contact with XBMC, since I've been using mostly Front Row+Sapphire on my MacBook before that.
I installed the Rapier theme according to this article: http://blog.ninjahideout.com/posts/apple-tv-2g-and-xbmc-setup-bliss
Everything works perfectly, except that the category names in the main menu (i.e. "Videos", "TV Shows", "Pictures"...) are not displayed.
I only see the corresponding icons without any descriptive text.
The funny thing is: this is the second time I installed XBMC and this theme, since I had to re-jailbreak the ATV2 when the untethered JB became available.
The first time, the category names were displayed as expected.
I checked that the theme package was downloaded and installed correctly;
the png-files containing the descriptions are also in their right places.
I tried different UI language settings, but the names stayed hidden.
I also couldn't find an option that would turn on/off the category names.
Does anyone have an idea why this happens?
