When replaying games the format is 4:3. Is it possible to get it into a 16:9 format?
It was originally in 16:9 but then the picture flickered and it's now in 4:3.
Any suggestion?

Hey guys.
Some people are saying that stuff is playing at 1200 instead of 1800 (highest) despite being set at the highest.
I am not sure why this is...It might be because certain streams just dont go that high? I am a bit at a loss as to why its happening.
EDIT: I am getting 1800 when selected (at least I tried it on the live college football game). Again I wonder if certain streams just arent at 1800?
As for the replay, I noticed some were going to 4:3 (maybe it was the FIFA beach soccer) but others didnt. Ill have to investigate more.

As far as I know, this is on ESPN's side. it would seem that they don't always have the HD camera's to tape all the events.
it will show in the log what definition it is... either 4:3 or 16:9
so, it all depends on what you're watching.
this type of thing will happen on their web based player as well.
i don't think there is any way we can control this. this information is set from the XML file.
edit: I have seen where the live feed was 16:9 and the replay is in 4:3, I've also seen the exact reverse.
the crazy thing is, if it is in 4:3 format, i haven't been able to even override it with XBMC video settings.
i know the Brazil v. Ghana game was in 4:3 - this was the Live showing. and i wasn't able to force the 16:9 setting on it.

I am in Ontario, Canada. and I am using the link from Dahlstrom below on my atv2 and on my Mac, trust me it works.. I am watching Soccer as we speak.

Maybe you should try it out yourself? It DOES work and has been confirmed over 20 times now.

Watched Netherland vs Finland soccer yeasterday, and now its broken again. T_T
