Same thing here, I wanted to see Barcelona being Crowned but I got a fail script error

- ccsmooth - 2011-05-16

Yeh, this was my favorite add on. Hopefully we can get this fixed somehow.

yeah... - locomot1f - 2011-05-16

locomot1f Wrote:peace ksosez,

not sure what this means down the line as XBMC approaches 11.0, but as I said in the earlier post, the latest nightly builds (for iOS operating systems) are not supporting this plugin. i'm putting a link to the single post that Kieth replied to > http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=794788&postcount=279

you'll see from my error log that it seems to be something with SSL.
keeping fingers crossed, hope this doesn't show up in the final build. I know it's a LONG way off, but I thought i'd give you a heads up.

at first i thought it was because of me updating my XBMC to the latest build. but i'm starting to get this again. the same error as I stated before in my logs.

I'm wondering if we can take a poll to see what Internet Services people are on. I'm on TWC. I'm wondering if it's with the service provider, cause nothing in the scripts (or XBMC) has changed.

This might take a while to debug.

ooops! - locomot1f - 2011-05-16

nope that's not the error i'm getting.
I was looking at an old log.

this is the error that's coming up now. has to to with an IndexError:
Code:
09:32:39 T:139046912 M:109060096    INFO: -->Python script returned the following error<--
09:32:39 T:139046912 M:109060096   ERROR: Error Type: <type 'exceptions.IndexError'>

09:32:39 T:139046912 M:109056000    INFO: -->End of Python script error report<--

not sure what got screwed up. hopefully an easy fix....

wondering.... - locomot1f - 2011-05-17

is this only an ATV 2 issue?

- divingmule - 2011-05-17

Nope, I've been getting the same error Sad

- ksosez - 2011-05-18

Sorry guys I will look at this tomorrow. Been a bit busy with real life stuff.

Looks like they have changed the way the auth works and that has broken some of the stuff. Its hard to tell but I dont think this will be an easy fix.

- westcoastbias - 2011-05-18

So I watched the mavs/thunder game using this pluging on my atv2 last night without an issue.

I am still on the latest official release (2/19 I believe).

BlueCop Wrote:glad its working. I only worked on a comcast connection. I didn't realize other isps needed to login. It trys to use an anonymous swid for the device point id. they should probably be an authenticated swid.

I am on an AT&T U-verse now and it is still working for me.

It seems they won't give out anonymous swids to isps that aren't suppose to get them anymore. It will probably just need to log-in and get the right cookies so we will use an authenticated swid rather then anonymous.

I don't think a proxy will work to get around this authenticating because it embeds your ip address in the connection auth.

The point is that loophole to play videos anonymously is closed for isps that don't support it. It will most likely require a log-in from now on.

sounds good to me - locomot1f - 2011-05-18

let's make it happen. :-)

I'm on TWC, if you need any information let me know.

- ksosez - 2011-05-19

Yeah and time warner requires a login to watch it, not sure about other ISPs. I dont have ESPN so they closed that loophole as well on timewarner (used to be you could login it would give you an error message and you could still watch.)

Sigh.

i know what you're mean, ksosez.

i had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get back in on my laptop.
i eventually got back in, on my laptop by first going to this site:
https://myservices.timewarnercable.com/account/

logged into my services, then on the right column there is the logo that will take you to this site:
http://espn.go.com/espnnetworks/index?iid=myservices%20%3E

from here I was able to go to ESPN3 (at the top menu).

I'm assuming with my cookies enabled, I don't have to go through this process each time. I can just to to ESPN3 and it's automatically logged on.

If you have some ideas, or need me to test something out, lemme know!

- eriqjaffe - 2011-05-19

FYI, it worked fine for me last night on Comcast.
