If you don't have ESPN package with your provider, now I believe they are able to check and blocking access to it. Probably it worked before 'cause they didn't do the check.

All these TV providers are so freaking greedy. If they just put their regular ads on the live streams and let everyone watch, they'd still make money, probably even more. I wouldn't block or turn them off if they let me watch the game. I hate ads, but I might even click a few if they interest me in this case. Instead they make us run around, *sigh*

when i first added support for thr additional channels there was a check on your provider.
they remoeved te check sometime after that. their smil noted that you were testing group if on the wrong network.
it seems they are checking again.

This addon still doesn't work, but did anyone try playing the streams in a browser? It looks like they've done some upgrades and added a bunch of new providers. Before my signal would constantly fluctuate, now I'm getting a consistent 4-5 bars. The full signal picture seems to be sharper too, possibly 720p finally?

Well I did everything in #571 as well with a valid SWID even. Here is what I get, I don't know what is going on now. Anyone have the latest librtmp.dll for Windows for me? That one site that supposedly has it for download, the site never works. Or I'm just too ignorant to see how it downloads. It never sends me the file. If anyone can throw it up on mediafire or bayfiles I'd appreciate it.

It seems the SWID trick still works. Got it running now. Also, like I speculated before, the 2200 stream is now 896x504. Before it was 760x430 or something around there. It looks sharper now, but is there also a higher 720p stream that we can't chose yet? Like I said before I'm not getting kicked off as easily so it seems they've upgraded their entire system, which also may be the reason why this addon stopped working for so many.
Edit: spoke too soon on the disconnection issues being fixed. I still get booted from the highest quality stream after 5-10 minutes even with a 20 mbps connection.

Addon on ATV2 always gave me error. I also installed XBMC on my PC just to test and espn3 addon actually works. All the settings are the same on PC and ATV2. Very annoying. I also looked at post #571 that everyone was talking about bu I don't know how to do this on Apple tv.
Anyone can help?

Thought I'd post this since it seems like other ATV2/XBMC/ESPN3 users might be having problems with this as well.
I tried streaming the EURO 2012 games today on my ATV2 and it kept failing (seemed to start for a split second and stop - no GUI errors). So, I decided it was time to update to the newest iOS and latest Seas0nPass since I was still on 5.0 and thought that might be the problem (didn't check the forums). After getting everything back up (including a fresh install of XBMC/BlueCop repo), I was having the same problems as before. My error logs had the following error:
ERROR: RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header
I searched around and found folks saying this is a problem with the librtmp.0.dylib file (the version shipped with XBMC being the latest stable file, but out of date). A lot of posts suggested downloading BlueCop's version from his site, but I continued to have problems with that one. Finally found a more recent thread on an NBA topic (credit: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=101938&pid=1106384#pid1106384) which suggested a different version:

Replacing the /Applications/XBMC.frappliance/Frameworks/librtmp.0.dylib with that one did the trick for me. Streaming is working again!
