I'd link you, but it's just tedious on an iPhone Thanks for the hint but AutoUpdate is already off. I figured out the reason - it's the skin. The one I am using - Carmichael - does not work the latest build. Same happen with a few others while Confluence and eg. PM3 work. dkandy - keith - 2011-05-24 CptanPanic Wrote:Yes the seatbeltunlock fixed it. What does that do? They should add it to the first post. Fully unlocks it. The first post clearly states to make sure you have the official build installed 1st. If you did, you would of had seatbelt installed. You said you had XBMC stable working without seatbelt installed? Strange.. that doesn't make sense. - keith - 2011-05-24 dkandy64 Wrote:@ Keith Don't have it anymore, sorry. - keith - 2011-05-24 sprut Wrote:When I play IP-TV sound stutters Short of helping get the hardware decoder optimized for MPEG TS files, no. The 2nd file is seriously screwed up, look at the description of the codec. Also I've never seen a Windows Media .avi file. - stevenz - 2011-05-24 keith Wrote:Fully unlocks it. If the alteration to the apple logo onscreen is indicative of Seatbelt being installed, then my having installed XBMC via FireCore hasn't installed it either. I'll try a git update this evening & (re)install Seatbelt and see if it makes xbmc any more responsive under 4.3, it's a tad slow atm. - keith - 2011-05-24 stevenz Wrote:If the alteration to the apple logo onscreen is indicative of Seatbelt being installed, then my having installed XBMC via FireCore hasn't installed it either. The Apple Logo has nothing to do with seatbelt. Seatbelt is for XBMC. But a simple search of the forums could of gleamed you this info: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=101414 ATV Flash (which is what I assume you mean) might not install the seatbelt. I don't know how they do it. I would only use the official repos. Last time I looked at ATV Flash was super ultra old build (even older than official) If you're using a build within a week or two old (like mine or your own) the gui isn't going to be any different speed wise, patches welcome. - stevenz - 2011-05-24 Thanks for that, I saw a picture of the logo on one of the XBMC-related sites with what appeared to be the picture of a person wearing a setbelt on it, hence the incorrect assumption. Updating to the official git build now. FWIW ATV-Flash is currently packaging a git build from Feb 19th with their package. (BTW, it's "gleaned") - Matryx - 2011-05-26 Is there a way to revert back to a stable version. Ever since the recent updates XBMC have been crashing a lot. - mari - 2011-05-26 Not sure is it the right place to post this, but it started to happen when I've updated IOS to 4.3 and installed latest (20110515) XBMC nightly build from keith, so I suppose that this is not an issue of Subtittles script. When I'm trying to use the Subtitles plugin it gives me 'Error: local variable 'SubHash' referenced before assignment' in OSD xbmc log: http://pastebin.com/wTK0FPCd - frontsidebus - 2011-05-26 Am I missing something or is the latest "nightly" build from May 16th? Is there a tutorial on compiling nightlies yourself? - amet - 2011-05-26 frontsidebus Wrote:Am I missing something or is the latest "nightly" build from May 16th? Support for newer builds may not be as fast when compiling them yourself. - frontsidebus - 2011-05-26 amet Wrote:sure, https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master/README.ios Thanks for the response. I compiled the build per the instructions. How do I update my existing xbmc installation on atv2 with this new build? - Cranial - 2011-05-26 frontsidebus Wrote:Thanks for the response. I compiled the build per the instructions. How do I update my existing xbmc installation on atv2 with this new build? "XBMC Source"/tools/osx/packaging/xbmc-atv2/ Then run "./mkdeb-xbmc-atv2.sh release" Then transfer the deb to the atv2 and install with dpkg -i - amet - 2011-05-26 frontsidebus Wrote:Thanks for the response.
