And beside that we got your credit card information aswell - thanks for the donation dude *looking at its shiny new crystal ball bought from donations* - sameoldg - 2011-06-28 Anyone have information on how to fix the scrapper issue "Unable to connect to remote server"? I'm pretty new to this. Bought the ATv2, jailbreaked and have 10.09 XBMC installed but having a little choppy RMVB playback. Is there any improvement in rmvb playback in the nightly version? Thanks - lukenukem - 2011-06-28 You should post some media info. I believe there have been some problems with the RMVB-codec. If you're trying to play HD in RMVB you're bound to end up disappointed for sure. 720p and higher will not play smoothly at all unless a h264-codec is used. - groenbek - 2011-06-28 Luke, coul u elaborate on that pls? What codec is needed etc.. I have serious playback issues on 720+ content! - jenjen - 2011-06-29 jenjen Wrote:Hi Guys. I'm pretty new to this. It's not 720p video but just standard rmvb. I moved to external scraping for now. I use Media Companion to add the metadata to the moves/shows folder and XBMC uses it. This way the update works ok. - haukurk - 2011-06-29 Covisp Wrote:I am able to force it to get info on individual shows/movies, I just can't get it to scan without failing.. Same here.. Seem to be able to scrape individual shows or movies, but it fails when firing an automatic scan.. This is a problem in latest svn for ATV1 also. - Fire69 - 2011-06-30 emkay Wrote:Please tell it correctly: Well, excuse me, your highness... haukurk Wrote:Same here.. I guess it's a general problem in the latest build. Same problem here, and I use an external scraper. - JGonzo10 - 2011-07-01 How do I updated my Ipad to the latest nightly? http://hadm.net/xbmc/latest_ios.deb link is not working. Can I use the ATV nightly build? - justo - 2011-07-01 JGonzo10 Wrote:How do I updated my Ipad to the latest nightly? If you go to http://hadm.net/xbmc/ it says "LATEST_IOS_WAS_BAD_NEW_BUILD_PENDING" so I think you will probably have to wait for a new IOS build. - XbmcFuntimes - 2011-07-01 Howday folks, long time XBMC users and loving it on the ATV2 however I've come across a bit of a problem. I've just bought my second ATV2 today and was forced to go with the latest semi nightly build which is XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20110623-62171b3 (Jun 23 2011). This is fine, works great. However, there are differences between this and the official release which I was running on my old ATV2. So I figured the best thing to do was to update to the current nightly on that as well to keep them consistent. However, after installing it through the same process as I did for my new one I've somehow managed to end up with a different nightly build which is listed as XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20010618-eedceeb (Jun 18 2011) as most annoyingly doesn't list "Films" and "TV Shows" on the main menu bar (the options don't exist in the skin settings). So what I've got is: Living room iOS 4.2.1 XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20110623-62171b3 (Jun 23 2011) Bedroom iOS 4.1.1 XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20010618-eedceeb (Jun 18 2011) I've even tried transferring the "latest_atv2.deb" file to my bedroom ATV2 from the livingroom but it still stays as the same version. How can I resolve / troubleshoot this? Ideally I just want to completely remove XBMC from the bedroom ATV2 via apt-get uninstall via SSH but i've tried that and it still leaves around files in the /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC dir and a reinstall shows the same "old" version number. Surely running different iOS versions shouldn't be a problem? They're both jailbroken fine I think I'm just not familiar enough with the XBMC install on the device to know what to remove to get a clean install. |
