RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - Icarus3000 - 2012-11-23

Version 0.75 works great for me - up to Frodo Alpha 3. It doesn't work on any of the newer nightlies or Frodo beta 1.

Is anyone still working on this addon? Would someone be able to take a stab at making it compatible with Frodo? The lack of this addon on the beta is the only thing keeping me from updating.

Mine is working fine on v. 12, beta on windows

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - Icarus3000 - 2012-11-23

That's weird... I tried a few times, but upgrading past Alpha 3 for me and it breaks.

Are you on a nightly or the beta release?

I think I may need to do a complete re-install of XBMC (which I was hoping to avoid).

Beta, but i did not upgrade. It is a fresh install. Maybe that's a difference

I've not upgraded either. I'm still kicking around the forum.

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - Icarus3000 - 2012-11-24

Based on kufelt's post saying that the addon was working under the beta release of Frodo, I uninstalled XBMC completely and installed the latest nightly build.

Same problem as always. Sad

Log file is here: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=15372

Can someone help me figure this out?

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - Icarus3000 - 2012-11-24

Update: It DOESN'T work on the latest nightly, but works fine in Beta 1. Sorry for the confusion.

Has anyone else tried this Plugin with RaspMC?

GlobalTV has problems.
You can navigate to the 2nd level (Shows, Specials, Classics) but when you try to go into Shows it gives you a "Script Error"

CTV seems to work for some shows.
Americas Next Top model worked. (don't judge. I picked the fist show in the list)

RaspMC is based on Frodo. So i tried Frodo_Beta1 on my DesktopPC and it works fine

Any ideas?

Has anyone figured out the problem with TVO Kids?

You're right, my linux Debian/Wheezy just updated to Beta 1 and it works now.

Any ways of fixing the plugin so it could work with CBC videos? Huh

RE: [RELEASE] Canada On Demand (Successor to CTV Properties) - dcowboy - 2012-12-08

I second that request.... I miss CBC news local Sad The plugin doesn't parse the local news websites correctly now. I'm hoping someone can correct this issue soon.

I am also having errors trying to get CBC channels. I just recently installed XBMC 12 Frodo - Beta 2. Sounds like there are compatibility issues eh?

I see this morning XBMC 12 Frodo - Beta 3 is available.

Has anyone tried "Canada On Demand" with this release?

This is a great Plug-in. Love to get these channels through the XBMC interface. MUCH better than going direct with a web browser - where every site has a different (and more complicated) UI.

Hoping it's better with Beta 3.

Well, just tried Beta 3.

CBC still gives errors when you try to list programs.

I have a log file if will help.

I'm having problems running Global shows in OpenElec beta2 and now beta4. Many of the other channels (Space, CTV) work fine and Global used to work when I was running the OpenElec nightlies. I can put a log file in pastebin if it will help. I can still access Global shows in XBMC 11.0 on my Arch Linux box, so it isn't the website that's changed.
