Just found this plugin tonight and so far looks good, but, I'm getting errors trying to play cbc or global shows.
I'm running xbmc 12.2 on an Apple TV 2.
Can someone confirm the plugin version number. I found a link that Sid was for 0.7.8, but when installed xbmc reports the version as 0.7.7

I'm still using Looi's 0.7.6 version. It seems to work the best for me for most of the items I watch.

For some reason showcase hiccups on my pi, but works fine on my pc. The other channels I watch on my pi are fine.

Noob here, trying to replace my Boxee's with XBMC on different devices (Nettop with Ion 2, and a mac mini).
I just installed the latest CoD on my mac mini running Frodo 12.2, but I'm having problems with script errors with the 2 channels my wife was going to be watching, HGTV and the Food Network.
It gives me a script error, but I don't know if there is anything I can do to troubleshoot it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which version of CoD did you install? I've had good success with the looi version. 0.7.6.

The script errors are known and reported errors, and are in queue to be fixed.
You should use the most recent version, 0.7.8 not 0.7.6 as it will not help.

have the latest build.
tried a bunch of canadian proxys since i live in europe . not working.
tried proxy in xbmc settings - not working
tried proxy in canadaondemand settings - not working.
tried proxy in both - not working.
one time i thought it was working but it wasnt since i opened a folder at CBC and it opened a ton of them with the same names ...?!
but most of the times its script errors.
i'm running xbmc 12 frodo on windows vista
any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem before. I found it was related to a secure DNS service I was using. Have you tried using a different DNS? I wrote a post about it HERE

There have been updates to the plugin to address the global, slice, hgtv, etc issues.

The version numbers and change log haven't been kept updated as they should be with every change.
But the latest one is the one you downloaded from the github repository, and if global news/tv, etc work, then you've got the newest changes.

Thanks icharania. With the other versions after 0.7.4 users reported seeing a new version number (not 0.7.4). To anyone else that has installed this latest version what version number shows for you?

tried several other proxies and had only luck with the radio broadcasts from CBC :-(
i have 12.2 frodo on windows 7 64bits (accidentaly i said windows vista..)
2.4 rtmplib KVS build
got the canadaondemand add-on from the git as instructed. still no luck. i give up
