Are you trying to flash it with other drives connected or only that drive in the SATA 0 channel ?

Also what mobo do you have ?

The only drive connected is the HDD i'm trying to flash. It is connected to sata port 0.

I have tried different USB ports for the flash drive.

The mobo is an Intel DG41TY.

Since trying to flash the drive, I've had a few windows hangs, and one of the drives seems to disappear until I reboot. (Not sure if its the same drive I've tried flashing, or the same drive every time.)

Hopefully this was a random thing, not the start of an unstable future...

Did you clear CMOS as I said previously its not a bad idea with this kind of firmware flashing

Before, after or both?

After when you return to using your mobo as normal Smile
