Portfowarding:ATV2/XBMC - Capecodmacguy - 2011-03-23 Is this possible? - Memphiz - 2011-03-23 what do you mean? - prae5 - 2011-03-23 What are you trying to achieve? - Capecodmacguy - 2011-03-24 I'm trying to get a faster connection speed for the ATV2.. Seems the buffering might subside or decrease its frequency... Just a guess.... - bircoe - 2011-03-24 Port forward what tho? Port forwarding is only useful when your trying to contact a particular device on your network from outside the network... ie the Internet. So if you had a computer that hosted a website, you would setup portforwarding in the router of port 80 (http) to the ip address of your web server... If your streaming from a NAS box or PC on your network port forwarding aint gunna do squat. |
