Thanks.

Something's up with your nvidia driver, personally, I'd reinstall, but you could always try checking modprobe.d to check that the default driver is still blocked from loading

Someone PM me if interested in testing a very fast bootup mode (must have HDD installation, USB users already benefit)

Hi Smile
I encountered strange problem. I'm using ListenLiveEU plug-in. When I try do play some radios, it gives me:

OGGCodec: Can't open decoder for http://poznan6.radio.pionier.net.pl:8000/zloteprzeboje.ogg

Is there something missing on your image, Sam? What should I check?
Any help very appreciated.

Thanks!

PS.
Sam, I can be your guinea pig Tongue PM me what should I do to benefit from fast bootup time.

I install libogg0 so it shouldn't be an issue.

I run an update just few minutes ago. Nothing changed.
Is there a possibility that I'm missing some files?

I checked, and found in "/usr/lib/" "libvorbis.so.0.4.0" and "libogg.so.0.5.3". Is it enough to play it? Or maybe I should search elsewhere?

An update? I wasn't saying install it, I was saying it was already installed. I'm not sure, try play back OGG locally in XBMC

- JeDaj - 2011-05-14

yeah, an update Tongue
Update to the image.
sudo ./enable_updates
sudo restart

That's it. Nothing more. Last time I screwed my install by running "apt-get update" so now I'm avoiding it as much as I can.

Ahh. So you installed the May 12 update. It does change things, namely, performance, the update system and a couple bugs. It just didn't do anything in the OGG field. Don't avoid updates -- your system broke before because you updated the components wrecklessly, but updates I push out are thoroughly tested and bring more than just new packages, but also performance updates, better scripts and new features etc. Still none-the-wiser to your problem though

I tried some .ogg music files. Plays fine. No problems at all. So it must be something with XBMC. But now the question is - what? I found some references to PAPlayer but I can't find it anywhere in xbmx folders.

- Sam.Nazarko - 2011-05-14

As I said, I don't know. But the issue is XBMC related, not CrystalHD related.

WiFi dongles that support ndiswrapper will work fine. Personally though I'd recommend a wired connection. To verify if all your different remotes will work, boot off USB and try it out.

how do i control the wifi -dongle settings (network password, etc) without GUI? please give me any hints you might have. thank u

/etc/network/interfaces

Hi!

Would it be possible to install TVHeadend https://www.lonelycoder.com/hts/tvheadend_download.html on the AppleTV on this image to have this on just one device not needing additional server?

I'm asking this to be able to see EPG for iptv, teletext,...

If yes what would you recommend?

- Sam.Nazarko - 2011-05-15

It will install fine. Just wget the deb file and install with dpkg -i. Youll need compatible drivers though, and a backend might be too much for the 1Ghz processor. A frontend is a much better option
