nytelife Wrote:Actually I have a question about Tv Shows in Trakt - Plays, All, and Collection

Everything is workign btw but I can seem to get my head around these categories.

In plays, it states I have 59 shows.

In All, it lists all my 71 shows

But, in collections, it only lists 47 in my Collection..

What is up with that? Shouldnt all my shows from XBMC be in my collection?

I get how plays works somewhat but generally confused how it is determining my collection status.

Should I disable syncing or something like that?

That is unusual, all should be anything that they have any info about in relation to you, like rated etc. Collection should be what you have in XBMC. Are you sure that you have more than 47 shows in your collection. As a general rule of thumb collection will be smaller than all and watched should be less than all but it may be more or less than collection. trakt keeps info about shows that you no longer have in your collection and therefore all will be the largest.

Yep I am sure. Dont understand it myself. All my setup is integrated with Sickbeard to Sab to XBMC to Traktv..

My profile on Trak.tv is nytelife you can check it out for yourself. Maybe you will see something I cannot.

Um, it says 75 shows in your collection on your trakt page, http://trakt.tv/user/nytelife/library/shows/collection.

Has this been fixed? - hogfan - 2012-01-28

othrayte Wrote:I think what you might be seeing is TU change watch status to not watching whenever you pause the item, I can see how this might be a problem. If it is sending facebook messages when you unpause then I might consider changing the behaviour.

I didn't see this posted as bug on github. Has this issue been fixed or should I open bug report on github? Watched a movie last night and paused 4 times. Trakt posted to my facebook wall 4 times. Is there a way to differentiate between paused and stopped in XBMC, so that Trakt utilities will not see watch status as stopped when a movie/show is only paused?

BTW, this was in reference to post #488 of this thread.

Regarding the issue of movies (collection) not being sent to the website and sync back from it, for me at least, fixed when I switched to Linux. Lockups seems to have stopped too.

Maybe its an issue on Windows systems?

You are correct, this has not been added to github, and the behavior has not yet been changed.

The change seems logical, and straight forward, it just needs to be done is all.

Im new to Trakt, installed it last night and registered on there etc.

Installed the addon by zip, I can locate it and configure it and the collection data is correct, so its connecting ok it seems. However im also having issues Sad

Error log: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20670693/xbmc/xbmc.log

Im getting the 'service.py' error shortly after the addon starts to look for changes to watched tv/movies.
I've disabled the option to scan & clean content, purely to keep the log less cluttered and cos it dumped about 500 movies into the list Wink

OS is WHS2011, using Eden.B2, ive got XBMC port as 8084, which isnt an open port and ive been wondering if this may limit its capabilities or cause issues. My Trakt profile shows the content ive got, and what is set as viewed, however it still hasnt recognised me watching something since joining, im at 0min, nothing watched.

It seems to be working partially, but not fully.

Im also using Aeon Nox, i noticed that the Trakt site refers to it as a supported skin, and their images show little \ images for watched/local/watchlist etc, and im not seeing that. Is it viewtype specific (I use lowlist) or is it in the Addons own area? im not overly fussed if i cant see that, just thought i'd mention it incase it helps.

Hey, I am also having this problem as well. I had an older installation of XBMC that worked flawlessly with TU. The issues came when I reformatted my computer. On a new installation of XBMC with TU it freezes on startup.

The first time I run it it actually goes for a while but freezes, and any other subsequent startups are much shorter before a freeze. I have included a fresh error log as well as the error log right after that which causes a freeze much more quickly.

I have also allowed XBMC to run for as much as six hours after a freeze and had no progress at all. XBMC did nothing after it froze as you can tell from the first error log which is the one I let it sit for.

Fresh startup:

Next startup:

Any help would be appreciated! I love this addon and almost require that it work! Yes...I'm that addicted Laugh

Thanks!

You have a problem that has been fixed for the upcoming release, please look back through the thread for the link to download the unreleased version.

Your logs shows something that I personally don't understand. The piece of code that last wrote to the log in the both log files is part of the syncroniser that I didn't write and don't understand very well, but from my limited understaning of it I haven't been able to comprehend what caused the problem. I'll pass the log on to the Manromen encase he has some clues.

Took me a while of going through various links and trying to guess which link your referring to, but i think its working now, hopefully ive not broke something else in the process.

- TeKo - 2012-02-01

Is there a way to use trakt with tv show streams (not in library)?

- Manromen - 2012-02-01

only library mode is supported yet.

what kind of stream is it ?
is the tvdb id, season number, episode number and the title available anyhow ?

- kri kri - 2012-02-01

This addon is really buggy for me and freezes my pre-eden build of openelec quite a bit. Is there a better build I should be using? I am on 0.6.4

- Manromen - 2012-02-01

I haven't used the plugin myself for around half a year.
The Eden builds don't made me happy. ^^

If Eden goes stable, I'll continue my work on this add-on.

btw. I use openelec too but I didn't saw any Eden builds ...
