still timezone issue after I (tried to) fixed it - barelyadraft - 2011-04-18

Hi, I followed the supposed fix for the timezone issue on the ATV2. I live in Copenhagen so SSHed into the box and wrote the following:

Quote:cd /private/var/db/timezone
rm localtime
ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Copenhagen
killall AppleTV

And yes, the timezone did change for the better, but it is still 2 hours off the correct time (so when it 8PM in DK, XBMC shows 6PM).

I am wondering if there is a big relaled to daylight savings time? Or have I just done something wrong?

ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Copenhagen localtime
