Anyone else out there using the iTunes Search API have problems with it being slow? - compcentral - 2011-04-21
I'm using the API documented here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/resources/documentation/itunes-store-web-service-search-api.html with Audio-Matic, and it was working great the past few days but today it is super slow to respond or even times out.
As far as I can tell, there is no rate limiting required so I was hammering on them a little bit during testing. I suppose that could be it.
Also, I'm not really an affiliate either. Could that be a problem? Like I said, it was working great for a while. Maybe their servers are just a bit slow today too.. I dunno.
