I haven't ever been able to get this plugin to work. Is there something I'm missing? I'm on the PC XBMC installation latest version. I'm on the latest version of the JTV plugin plugin.video.jtv.archives-0.2.5.zip
I put the plugin folder inside of the directory in /program files x86/xbmc/addons/
I replaced the librtmp.dll to ProgramFiles\xbmc\system\players\dvdplayer\ like you told the other person to
I still get the error script failed!: plugin.video.jtv.archives whenever I try to select a genre inside
All the folders load, but when I get to any area where it would list the streams it gives me that error.
For instance, if I were to go to the entertainment section and click all, I would get the error. Hopefully you can guide me through what I did wrong. Thanks for making/maintaining this addon.

That's not the correct addons directory. You should use "Install from zip file" when installing add-ons manually or you may get dependency errors. System>Settings>Add-ons>Install from zip file

same issue as before doing such.
I deleted the folders I placed previously and installed from zip file as you said from the XBMC menu. It was only able to show a channel search once and that's it. After I load 1 search result let's say "All" from the main menu once entered it will never show up again. I was able to load a stream once, but never again after. As soon as I clicked stop or back from within the stream I get the same error I was getting previously and I'm not able to search for a new stream to watch. Please take a look at my pastebin if you have time. I am stumped.

If it helps I'm on the aeon mq3 skin

Did a test and installed xbmc on a clean computer, installed JTV plugin via install from zip, then replaced the librtmp.dll and started started the JTV addon. the same problem is happening. I can't actually see any channel listings. I can see every genre, but nothing beyond that.

I've added some additional debugging. If you would update to 0.2.6, enable debugging in the add-on settings, then pastebin a new log.

which version can i use on apple tv 1g with 3..0.2 ?

I found out my issue was that I was apparently partially IP banned from JTV. It felt odd to me that the own3d plugin worked fine for me as well as every other streaming plugin. When i went to JTV I would randomly (not always) get a message saying JTV has blocked you from using their services when accessing different channels. After resetting my IP I no longer have issues. thanks for working on this amazing plugin.

Go ahead and get the 0.2.6 . If you have trouble, copy your xbmc.log to http://pastebin.com then post the pastebin link.

Sorry, those channels are producing "unsupported audio codec" error Sad. You might ask the broadcaster to change the audio codec to mp3 or mp4a.

I have a small problem with Jtv

After I have installed the XBMC iso, the streams won't start.
When I test on my windows 7 machine the streams works perfectly in xbmc.

EDIT:
I have just found out where XBMC saves the log, so here is the thing there is happening after I tryed to start a stream. http://pastebin.com/aqBKuyT8

You will need a newer build of the librtmp library.

Thanks to HansMayer, you should find one here > http://supercloudtv.com/librtmp.html

Thanks for your answer, unfortunally I have no experience whith compile things and rely on the repo's.
Allso the librtmp says it's updated (apt-get says the newest is installed from ubuntu 11.10 repo)
