[Web Interface Addon] [Eden] XWMM - XBMC Web Media Manager
(2012-08-14, 10:43)djcox Wrote: Thanks sej7278, and I appreciate that it is frustrating when we don't read all of the previous pages. One last question - where can I get the SVN version referred to in your quoted postHuh I would like to go back to the nightly frodo builds....

its not been written yet as far as i know, the quote was all the info slash has provided on it.

i'm currently building 12 from git (not svn!) and doing without xwmm for now, i'm using .nfo files with the imdb link in.
Ok, thanks. I'll just go back to nightly builds and monitor this forum for an update. I mainly use the interface to correct my sets - I don't always agree with the sets created on TheMoviedb....
Hey slash, late notice so I'll understand if you aren't concerned but I noticed my commits were reverted and it was around the time that people were complaining about problems with Firefox. Sorry I didn't bother to test in anything else, but do you have any idea what the precise issue was?
I just learn about this but I don't see the xwmm media edit interface I just have remote, movies,TV shows and music. What and I doing wrong? Under web interface it say default and XWMM and both are enable. I have enable use over http port 80. So what am I doing wrong?
i cant get this working:

Method 1: (XWMM will be the only web interface)
- Go to System > Add-ons > Install from zip file
- Select the downloaded Download webinterface.XWMM-x-x-x.zip file
- Go to System > Settings > Network > Services:
- Allow control XBMC via HTTP
- Web interface : XWMM
- open your browser to http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port>

Using win7 64bit, aeon mq3 skin
Constellation for ipad is working, so i guess everything is setup correct?
I have two interface default which can't be disable and xwmm which I can't configure just says I can only disable or unistall. Config is grey out.

Never mind I figured it out damn this is cool. If it works good I may dump Ember.
Same problem here. When using method 2, can only find XBMC-interface, adding /XWMM/index.html gives me a file not found.
Using method 1, I keep seeing the XBMC-interface with buttons, but they do not work.

Linux XBMC is running on a Thecus N5500 NAS. I experience script errors on other add-ons, probably to to with them connecting to internet (no weather, etc).

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Yesterday I read about XWMM interface, I immediately installed it and I was blown away! Amazing stuff, thanks! Smile
A couple questions: I am unable to find the option to change Music Artist sort order (so that I can finally see on my xbmc remote app all the artists starting with "the" in the correct place), and the option to change position occupied in by a movie in a movie set. As for the former, I cant find anything related to that anywhere.
As for the latter, if I click on manage movie sets I can select the # column to be visible and in theory to change the entries to be in crescent or decrescent order but it doesnt matter cause the # field is empty in all movies and I cant find a way to edit it manually.
Can you point me to the right place for those issues? I use the latest Chrome for Linux.
First of all, I love this add-on.

Secondly, i see "- Control XBMC scraper ("scan for new content" and update XBMC library)" listed in the current features, but I cannot find a way to update through the interface. I can find scraper settings, but not to actually start a scraper. How is this done?

Using Eden stable and XWMM 2.0.8
Greetings!
I have a problem, I wrote the following text in the series menu, in the description tab. I saved it, and the next time, i see the following "error". Is it any code character code error or what? I tried different browsers, but the problem is still there.

1. Before I save the description:
http://doriath.dtsh.hu/series1.jpg

2. After I saved the description:
http://doriath.dtsh.hu/series2.jpg

you can update the library using a simple link (change ipaddress) without even using xwmm:

http://ipaddress:8080/xbmcCmds/xbmcHttp?command=ExecBuiltIn&parameter=XBMC.updatelibrary(video)

Any ideas? This is a very annoying thing. In XBMC, I cannot see that characters...
Hello. My apologies - This might have been asked before but 131 pages it too long to read and I don't see a faq.

- Why don't you provide a 'play' and 'pause' functionality?

Of course I understand that playback control is not the 'design goal' of the interface, but don't forget that sometimes when you are editing a piece of data you want to doublecheck that the description actually matches the file, and it should be reasonably easy to build?

Related point:
Is there a requested feature list? I don't want to annoy with things that have been requested multiple times anyway. (of course MY requests are all unique, insightful and must be implemented immediately, everybody agrees..)
