A6-PACK ☆ ISK 300-90 picoPSU HTPC A6-3500 Very Silent!
Oh well, didn't really look for other options, I know the shuriken and I know it fits in beer's HTPC after cutting it. Would not like to get something that won't fix in even if spec are similar. I would need to really see if there is enough place. based on beer's htpc. Thanks for the option though, I'll keep it close to my build if no new shuriken are coming anytime soon

I would like to grab one of those new FM2 mobo / apu but don't want to wait months until Scythe release a rev C to support FM2 sockets.

Thanks

AFAIK, AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2 all still use the same heatsink footprint/mounting mechanism.

Overpriced Smile. E-i5 is better, especially since it already comes with a good "pico" type of PSU Smile.

E-i5 A6-PACK FTW!

Yes, it is painful to wait but maybe if there are any bugs in Trinity they'll be worked out before the mini-ITX boards come out and save us some grief. Ok, I am grasping at straws trying to make better of it Smile.

At least it is on their site now: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/FM2A75M-ITX/

I hope Gigabyte comes out with one too. I like the GA-A75N-USB3.

What is the OTD price of your E-i5 with Pico PSU?

This is a great price for 300-65 case: Antec ISK300-65 Mini ITX HTPC Case Brand New

>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Understand I was giving Beer40oz a bit of a ribbing so it was meant to be tounge-in-cheek but since you ask:

E-i5 with 120W DC + 84W AC adapter is $89.99 + shipping via eBay or $104.98 incl. shipping via the website.

Antec ISK300-65 is $68.99 + $49 for 90W picoPSU/90W AC adapter + $12.40 shipping for picoPSU combo (to my zipcode) so $129.89.

Another option is the Apex MI-008/Rosewill RS-MI-01 BK + picoPSU which would save about $20 over the Antec and allow for a 5.25" optical drive.

I would say which to get depends on budget, what accessories you want to install and what your taste is since they are all within $20-25 of each other.

There is also the E-i5 A6-PACK barebones if someone wants it already put together and tested.

$105 for a good case and Pico PSU is pretty good price. I keep it in mind for my next build......

Oh, do you have one for Micro ATX?
