Android Best android device for running xbmc ?

How about the Minix Neo X5. It looks to be the most stable and functional out of the dual core RK3066 devices. Check out this review here http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php/201...ox-review/. I have been waiting for an all-in-one XBMC functioning device that allows for full access to the Android Play store.

IMO, Pivos should ship a better looking box (like the Xiaomi Box or even simply the DS in black). Time its release with Frodo's and ship running the Pivos XBMC Linux port. GOLD, I would fill my house with them - as long as it wasn't white.

That Pivos XIOS looks very nice for the price. Official support of XBMC by them is fantastic.

Question, I'm currently running Nov1 nightly (haven't quite gone to beta 1 yet) and have everything centralized to MySQL. From what I know so far, I have to run all the same versions for mysql to work properly. Since the XIOS builds are not current, would there be an issue running the XIOS connected to my MySQL library db? For this purpose, would the XBMCLinux version for XIOS be the best?

phat, did you have any luck going to the programs screen? I have installed Navi-X, and the programs item just crashes XBMC on Android 4.2 on a Nexus 10

Does it play 1080P videos well enough or just 720P vidoes? Finally, does it read NTFS hard drives?

Thanks!

With Pivos XIOS DS I have to use a HDMI to Toslink converter to connect it to my DAC... Sad

Have to look other options. Maybe MINIX Neo X5...

Nope, not yet in BETA2 for any device. So far for android only the Pivos build with amplayer for HD accel or external players. The add-ons are pretty good on some that a lot claim do not work like Engadget, just doesn't work with the amplayer and relates only audio - just use the dvdplayer and voila all fine.

Anyone waiting for the delivery oy the OUYA? The specs are good. The developers are supposed to have been coordinating with XBMC developers. I should be getting mine in April 2013. It has a Tegra 3 cpu and runnng Jelly Bean. It will be open sourced and easily rootable. Just thing XBMC and gaming all on one device. You can still pre-order at www.ouya.tv, $95.00.
