So call me stupid, but....how exactly is the export to library function supposed to work? I've gone through a few shows (e.g. Daily Show on CC) and exported the show to my library but I don't see it in TV Shows, Videos, or anywhere on disk. Confused

I'm getting a script error, when I try to open USTVVod.

You need to have the folder where it exports to added as a video source.On windows it would be in in your appdata folder:
AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.ustvvod

Somehow I have ended up with all the Viacom channels not being available. I'm not sure how I have done it and it persists after uninstalling and reinstalling the plug in. I am running 14.2 on Yosemite. Here's a snippet of the debug log, any idea how to get things running? Thanks for any help.

...and next stupid question - if I export a show to my library is there some mechanism to auto-refresh the episode list? e.g. when there are new streams for the Daily Show on CC they're automatically updated/available when I view the episode list in TV Shows.

Add it to favourites in the add-on and use the library updater add-on.

I must be missing something - I added the program as a Kodi favourite from both the TV Shows source and from the USTV VoD plugin, installed the plugin (this one, right? http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:XBMC_Library_Auto_Update), and forced a manual library update by running the plugin. The new episodes show up in the USTV VoD list (expected - this is how it's always behaved) but not in my TV Shows library.

Or is the export to library function in the plugin a one-shot deal that has to be done every time you want new episodes to show up in the TV Shows library?

The export to library menu item is a one shot solution it doesn't track what was exported. Make sure you have marked the show as a ustvvod favourite not a kodi favourite. There is a ustvvod auto library updater in money makers repo that will perodicaly trigger an export of the favourites. There will be some updates in the next release to make this somewhat clearer.

I'm having the same problem as patarker on Android. Here is the relevant line from my log "NOTICE: invalid syntax (base.py, line 514)". I tried to hunt down base.py on my device but wasn't able to find it. Everything works as expected on my OpenELEC machine. Any help would be appreciated.

Very strange, looks like an issue with pycaption does anyone with this issue have subtitles turned on.
