Same here, w/3D ISO's only (but, like I said, just twice, and non-reproducible). Have watched several 2D MKV's (full rips) and no issues.

SBS and TAB do work, but w/present 1.2.4 f/w, you need to manually switch to it via OSD menu.

NO. It is 12-bit YCbCr 4:4:4. In fact, it doesn't look like 4:2:2 works at all. From my testing it looks like when you enable deep color mode, the output is 1080p 12-bit YCbCr 4:4:4, 2160p60 12-bit YCbCr 4:2:0, and 12-bit YCbCr 4:4:4 for 2160p 25/30Hz.

In some cases it seems to be merely changing the color depth (CD) fields, but the output signal remains in 8-bit. I am nearing the conclusion that deep color mode implementation is flaky in this firmware (1.2.4).

I asked this question on their forum:
(1) Do HEVC 4K 10BIT 24HZ files play in 24HZ, or do they convert to 60HZ?
and they replied,
(1)yes, you must open the autoswitch button..

Doesn't mean anything to me because i don't have the machine, does it work for you?

I found another bug. When I set the system language (to Dutch in my case) and reboot it's back to English again.

Hdmkv, you should watch more 3d iso then
I watched independance resurgence 3d yesterday and the green flash happened again but only once...
For me this is a big deal
2 movies in 3d i completely watched and 2 times it happened

It happened for me with 3d mvc iso, havent tested mkv 3d mvc

I've watched over a dozen 3D ISO's (start-to-finish) and the green flash has happened twice. I agree it's an issue that Zidoo needs to look into.

Wish we had MVC support w/LibreELEC, but even w/a non-appliance feel of Windows MVC, I still rank it as #1 most reliable, integrated playback machine (3D, 2D, and almost everything, except 4K, at least w/my D34010WYK NUC). Hoping to get a Kaby Lake box, a GIGABYTE BRIX as soon as it's available.

My intel nuc , doesnt play 3d iso mvc in 2d flawless, like zidoo and himedia do. And this is cause of kodi which is less forgiving to errors .. So it seems
I gave an example earlier for this but nobody truly looks into this

Also, after "upgrading" to 1.2.4 HDMI in cannot record anymore... "Start HDMI in record failed", it writes 0 byte files. There is also no audio pass-through although the picture comes in fine.

Really starting to regret getting this box.

Do you set the "HDMI Rx Audio format" to RAW?
If yes,please set to PCM.

Yes, if you have enabled auto 24p, it will switch to 23.976/24.000Hz depending on the frame rate of the video. As mentioned earlier, the output will be 12-bit YCbCr 4:4:4 (if you have enabled deep color mode).

Not long, like 5sconds then its gone and later it sometimes come back
Might be it loses signal yeah, if you would say the hdmi cable isnt plugged in correctly and you manually try to fix it.. It could flash like that too i think. Not sure
