Can the XBMC run base on the OpenGL ES and OpenGL, without SDL ?

sorry, base on the OpenGL ES and EGL, not the title described...

I want to know if this idear is ok? I am a learner of XBMC...Big Grin
If it is ok, could you tell me the how I should do ?
If not, could you tell me why ?

AFAIK if the dev headers are installed you just specify a configure option.
I am not scared of SVN - Cutting my hands open on the bleeding edge.
