Hi All, I am new to this so sorry for the noob questions.

I have mp3 folders named by artist, if i click into that folder, i have the album covers.

I have the same issues with movies. Example: I have trilogy's such as back to the future in a single folder.

What I am looking for is a picture/cover for the root folder of the artists directory. Does XMBC do this automatically? Is there a way to make XMBC just show you the files and ignore folders entirely?

Just throw any jpeg into the folder and name it 'folder.jpg'.

If you use library mode... folders are hidden.

how do i set it to library mode? Thanks again for your help.

Right click your source and scan to library then press left arrow to bring up the left panel and you will see the library mode button enabled
