I have a foxconn T330i
I don't have any usb CD drive to install the live version with.
Searching found ways that supposedly would work with a USB drive, but alas none of them would work for me for some reason.
I ended up having to install it to my hard drive while it was in my laptop.
During the installation it asked me if I wanted to configure the Ethernet. I chose no because it wasn't going to be using the same drivers.
When I put the hard drive in my xbmc box It all runs smoothly but my Ethernet.
I have already modified the /etc/network/interfaces file to include eth0 set to dhcp. but when I check ifconfig, it doesn't have eth0 listed.
lspci does show my atheros ethernet card, so I know it installed the drivers, but I can't get the eth0 set up properly.
Anyone have any ideas?
I am going to try a hail mary and reinstall to the hard drive while its in my laptop and try to configure the network anyway.
