I have a Macbook with the latest OSX, a jailbroken ATV2 with nitoTV & XBMC on it, and an Airport Extreme with a USB drive attached named '320GB' that holds a subfolder titled 'Movies'.
I'm new to XBMC and know nothing of networking. Can anyone show me step-by-step how to stream movies to the ATV from the '320GB' hard drive attached to the Extreme? I've read other threads and been messing with this for days, but nothing works.
I just want to add the Movies folder and watch them 320GB -> AE -> ATV2, no Macbook involved. I know it's possible, but I just can't figure it out.
If I 'get info' on the Movies folder it shows me: smb://GSB._smb._tcp.local/320GB/Movies
Any help, please? I'm sorry I'm such a luddite, but I really appreciate any help using simple step-by-steps and language. Thank you!
