i´ve problems with my project to centralize my video database.

My setup:

A xbmc-live 10.1 stable htpc with mysql database.
ATV2 (nighlty build 16 May).



Now i want to connect my ATV2 (nighlty build 16 May) as client (read only).


Everything works fine(users, XBMC live libary) but the xbmc log of the ATV2shows:

mysql.....can´t update version 42 to 51

thats the problem with xbmc ATV2 (10.0-7) DB ver 42 and Dharma DB ver 51


i´ve tried a mysql-proxy with the xbmcatv42.lua script form another post

but no positive result.... mysql.....can´t update version 42 to 51




Maybe someone has a solution.....

Drop your databases, remake them, and have the ATV2 populate the tables by turning it on first. Verify that there are MySQL entries in the ATV2 log indicating that it's created the tables (or just check the database directly). Then build the libraries with your main box

i solved my problem by annother way.

I´ve installed the latest nightly for atv2 from 16 may and
update my server xbmc machine from git (20 may).

So the mysql libaries are fully compatible.


For those with the same setup....


ensure you have also on the local (xbmc live for me) machine with mysql the network sources and not the normal mountpoints.
If you have normal nountpoints ( /media/movies/...) your atv2 cant open the libary links. Also use here the equal smb shares in your network.
