Hi all..
I fell in love with xbmc. It was love at first site.. Big Grin

but one or two problems are still bugging me a bit.

when I play mp4 and mkv files no video is coming for me when I am using dvdPlayer. If I open the file in vlc or mpc-hc they play just fine. currently I have setup external players for that but I was thinking it would be great if I can play it in xbmc itself. The logs are attached below.. any help will be hugely appreciated Smile

Does it work if you disable DXVA?

For future reference, please post the entire log as it gives us info about your system.

any idea why I cant use dxva2 acceleration for these files? and is there any way that i can enable dxva for other files without screwing up mp4 and mkv ?

mp4 and mkv are just containers. The video inside them can be encoded in lots of different ways, and I'd guess that the problem files have been encoded in an odd way, or at least in a way that isn't getting on with your video card.

I'm afraid there isn't any way to selectively enable DXVA. It's either on for everything or off for everything.
