Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to back up my movie library? I just spent ages making it look good with all the covers and so on and I would like to to know if in the event I format my pc (Win7) that there is a way to retain all the work?

exporting the library should do the trick, it is alot easier to deal with if you export as one file. then move it to storage, it wont backup your media, but it will back up the cover art, fan art ect.

Alternatively, back up your %appdata%\XBMC folder. On Windows a quick way to get at the folder is to press Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:
"%appdata%"
(including the quotes) and click OK. This will open an Explorer window showing you lots of folders including one called XBMC. Just copy the entire XBMC folder to a USB key or wherever you want to keep the backup. To restore your library etc just copy it back.
