Hi

I have an ATI Radeon 1250 integrated graphics. Running windows 7. The DXVA2 option is available in xbmc (latest stable build 10.1) but when selected no acceleration occurs. Is this just one of the cards that is not supported or is there a possible fix.

I did a quick google but didnot find the specs of that card. Are you sure that card supports DXVA2? The fact that XBMC shows that option doesnot mean the card supports it.

You need to enable debug logging then look at the xbmc.log. Search for "dxva" to find the appropriate lines. The log will tell you if dxva is being used.

pretty sure that card does not support DXVA 2 (let alone DXVA 1).

Thanks for your responses guys. I think you may be right, it does not appear to support DXVA2.
