Hi.
I'm trying to stream a video file from my PC to my XBMC box.
It's seems to be feasible with VLC or PS3MediaServer. But none of those work for me so far. Maybe I don't configure them well.
Can somebody come with a solution ?
I'd deeply appreciate.
Thanks.

just do a normal Window's share and map to it from your xbmc box

Maybe my question was not specific enough.
I'm trying do play a HD movie on my old xbox via XBMC. As you know, the original XBOX is not powerful enough to decode HD content and display it smoothly. So what I want to do is to let the PC to do the resource intensive work, and only then, stream the result to my XBMC box.

the xbox cannot handle hd content, not sure if what you are asking is possible, and it is no longer supported here, for original xbox development check out xbmc4xbox.org

I suspect the best you could do is transcode to 720p using Tversity or something similar.
