It used to work perfect with 1080p, and sometimes it still does, but for the most part 1080p movies lags. 720p works perfect every time.

I cant really remember if the problem started when I got my new Sony TV or not, if it could have something to do with that?

Im running XBMC 10.1-3 with my fully updated Arch installation.

Check to see if the hardware accelerated drivers are enabled for the Nvidia Graphics Hardware.

Possibly you updated the Kernel and the drivers were not recompiled.

VDPAU is working, otherwise I wouldnt be able to play 1080p movies at all with my old Intel Atom CPU.

I tried to disable VDPAU via the settings, but then XBMC just crashed everytime I tried to play any movie.
