I'm trying to decide how I would like to install XBMC, whether through the LIVE distro or setting everything up myself through Archlinux.
I've had a working setup through Arch, but had to swap some hard drives around and basically, start from scratch. The issue is, I never got Advanced-Launcher to work.
My setup was the base install of Archlinux with nothing but XBMC loaded. I didn't have a Desktop Environment installed since, from what I understood, XBMC is the window manager.
My question is, do you need a Window Manager in order to run emulators, advanced-launcher, etc.? Has anyone setup Advanced-Launcher without installing XFCE, Gnome, KDE, etc.?
