Hi
Can someone help me..
the volume control is disabled when the movie has 5.1 channel
it is a 720p 5.1 channel mkv movie
How do I fix this?
Also when the volume is 5.1, system volume control has no effect on xbmc volume level

Not sure of the technical nature of it, but its not possible to turn down any movie thats dolby digital or DTS, simply because its a digital source.
I make sure i have my amps remote handy when i get to watch a DD or DTS movie!!

you can only adjust the volume of pcm audio. you cannot adjust the volume of a bitstream (ac3/dts stream). you'd have to decode it, and then passthrough is out the window.
