Hello everyone,

I installed a minimal installation of Ubuntu 10.04 and did a how to to get NVIDIA Drivers going. I then installed XBMC and when I execute the command xbmc I only get this:

Error: unable to open display
FEH.py: cannot connect to X server

Is something wrong with my Nvidia Drivers? I'm not realy familiar with Linux and don't know what to do next. Thanks for your help!

Try DISPLAY=:0.0 xbmc

youll need xbmc-live packages installed, presuming you installed nvidia drivers ok the command to start xbmc is

start xbmc-live

to stop

stop xbmc-live

if your just doing xbmc then you get that error, presuming you have all xbmc packages...

a list of what you have installed xbmc wise would be nice.
