I am really a noob to transparency and probably this question has been asked for hundreds of times.

When I play music I only get the visualisation.
This is what I do,I press the TAB button and the only thing i see is the visualisation.

I want the background of the artist currently playing.
Is that possible?

music background can be configured on the MusicOSD



one or two additional settings may be found in:
Skin Settings > Home Window
