I have used ripit with its compression to do a couple of dvds and they all play terribly in xbmc with lots of stutters.

They are just standard dvds, any one else see this

What did you rip them in

• .dvdmedia
  
• a video_ts file
  
• or encode it

It was encoded using its compression/handbrake settings on default.

use mediainfo (see sig) to get information on the file and post the information in a site like pastebin then post that link

The specific problem is I feel physically sick when it pans or there is action, any kind of action even walking seems very juddery. Its cocoon so hardly a 3D block buster!

Have you tried it in other apps and it doesn't display the same unwanted characteristics?
