Is there any tool that helps with finding missing media from library? Surely this problem exists for MOST people.

Maybe you named a TV show wrong... or an episode. Maybe a movie title was spelled wrong...

It seems it just does not appear in library mode.. It's gone and I don't see any way to "Find it" apart from manually matching what is on my file system with what XBMC shows...

I did see a thread that helped you find missing episodes/etc.. but it doesn't work with network shares...

AFAIK most people use tools like Sick Beard and Couchpotato. Those tools automaticly rename the media, so wrong spelled media are no issue anymore and within Sick Beard it's very simple to see which episodes are missing.
