hi all. i have just setup a TVHeadend backend for some tv streaming. i think i have that all setup and is finding the sats that i want now all i need to know is how to get the XBMC PVR on my Live install. can i just add it or just download it and do a reinstall on my system.

Hi Scarlin83,
I did the same, after the live install, I just added the xbmc-pvr source :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lars-opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr
then I installed the packages from that source :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ths-tvheadend
sudo apt-get install xbmc
then I don't remember why (probably a doc or README)
/usr/bin/update-xbmc-dharma-pvr.sh
and that's it !

might have to add "sudo apt-get install xbmc-live" to that.

Found a problem with PVR? Report it on Trac, under "PVR - core components". Please attach the full debug log.
