Split guisettings.xml
#1
Is possible to split guisetting.xml in separate files, one for general xbmc setting and one for specific skin setting ?
In this way, you don't need to kill your xbmc settings when you update a skin, cause often you need to delete the skin part of guisettings.xml.

I know that there was talk a while back about having separate settings for skins so that you don't lose them when you update or change between skins. Don't know if anything ever came from it though. I would personally love something like that.

Can a dev give an answer to my question ?
A simple "no" is better than nothing.

Eventually skin settings will move to addon settings anyway (like all other addons) so this will be a moot point.

So no for now, yes for the future?
