A number of .strm files with (mms: type links) that works on Windows Media Player or on the old XBMC software on the original Xbox does not work with the nightlies I am running on. Can anybody tell me what the problem is?

Guesses could be made, but you'd have better luck if you posted a debug log where you try to play a stream.

Here is one example, where the stream works in Dharma 10.1, xbox xbmc, and windows media player but does not work with nightlies. I found a lot of mms: files from various websites on the web that fail to work only on the nightly builds including a NASA and National Geographic stream, which I can't find anymore.
