Is this hardware ok?

ok so I have this hardware currently "laying around"

I want a htpc, usenet download machine, lounge room web browser etc. I already have a case and 7 x 3tb drives and one 40gb ssd for the OS

Will this CPU/motherboard combo handle constant 24/7 usenet downloading and be able to play 1080p/i content without issues?

Should be (more than) plenty, what is your video? AMD890GX? Planning on using Windows OS?
My first HTPC build
My UnRaid Server
Kingston rebates and ASUS warranties are WORTHLESS FRAUDS

Yeh I have a spare windows 7 ultimate for the OS.

The motherboards onboard video (already has HDMI out) was the plan I it's an ati 4290 from memory. Wanted to avoid adding a separate video card if I can, but of on boards no good then I'll have too I guess.

Have also ordered the motorola nyxboard XBMC remote (if it ever actually gets shipped)

I once tried the 4250 onboard gfx in my HTPC and it played 1080p mkv's without a hitch using win 7 and xbmc. I don't see any reason why the 4290 would not be able to do the same.
HTPC: Win 7 Home 64-bit | MB | CPU | GPU | RAM | Case | PSU | Tuner | HDDs: OS, Media | DVD Burner | Remote
Media server: unraid 4.7 | CPU | MB | RAM | Case | PSU | HDDs: Parity-2TB, Data-2x2TB
