Not sure if providing a sample size video is going to do any good unless you import it into a myth database. If this is the case I can try to chop up one of the videos later.
I'm having an issue with playback via the myth:// protocol. When I playback a show the total time of the show will be listed as about 5 mins for a 30 min show. If I try to do a 30 second skip or really any ffwd in the show the video will lock up and I need to cancel out of the video. The same thing happens trying to use mythbox which I'm guessing uses the same myth:// protocol.
If I mount the smb share where the video is stored, the length reports correctly and I can skip to my hearts desire.
I had this same issue using the official 10.0-9 build as well. If I downgrade to 10.0-7 I can play videos via the myth:// protocol fine but videos from my mysql central database will not play. (I recreated the mysql database when I downgraded). They show up but as soon I choose one to play, the video never comes up.
Looking through the log, there are some errors about a version mismatch. I'm not sure if that same issue existed in 10.0-7 as I do not have those logs right now.
Right now I'm looking for a solution that would enable me to play videos both via myth:// protocol and from my mysql central database. Is it even possible to run 10.0-7 with IOS ? I believe 10.0-9 has some sort of bug for the myth:// protocol.
