this is sort of wacky idea but could drum up some income for skin creators who have a referral code for amazon/itunes/etc.

is it possible to have a link/addon in the skin that sends the user to a legit site to buy music/tv/movies and then imports them into xbmc?

i know most people use icefilms and other "free" sites to stream music/shows/movies but it would be great to have some support for legit way to get the media within xbmc.

and would provide income for the skinners and coders who spend hours skinning xbmc.

While I don't think we would accept skins into the official XBMC add-on repo that are using reference links like that to make money, it certainly is possible for a skin developer to make such links that launch a web browser.
