Libva and Vdpau problem
#1
Hi Dushmaniac,

I do not know if someone have already spoken about this problem ...

Code:
libva: libva version 0.31.1-sds1
Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
libva: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva: Trying to open /usr/lib/va/drivers/nvidia_drv_video.so
libva: va_openDriver() returns -1
vaInitialize failed with error code -1 (unknown libva error),exit

/usr/lib/va/drivers/ is empty ...

I tried to create a symlink to the driver but the result is segmentation fault

then

I tried to downgrade package, vainfo is ok but xbmc crash for missing library.

How can I solve this problem??

Do you plan to build a new libva1 package? (current version is 0.32)

My system is an Ubuntu Maverick all updated with latest nvidia driver from ubuntu-x-swat-x-update repository and vdpau-va-driver installed

Thanks!
