Buffers on XBMC Mac
#1
Question
I can play a file through my browser and it will play all the way through without buffering once. If I then play the same file through XBMC it will buffer every 20 seconds or so and it will only buffer a few seconds ahead. Are there any settings that can change this, mainly how fair it can buffer into the future before it has to carry on playing?

Thanks.

I've never seen anywhere that you can adjust the buffer amount in XBMC. From what I've gathered, most people (devs, big wigs) think that buffering is a non-issue these days. A lot of threads seem to think otherwise though.

Sorry I can't help.

I've never seen XBMC for Mac buffer except when playing video content over wifi and the wifi cannot handle the playback rates.
